What you'll be doing

  • Maintain clean and functional codebase for both frontend and backend services
  • Work closely with operation team members to understand moderately complex product requirements, and translate them into software designs
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other teams in an agile environment to design, develop, test, and maintain SavvyPro’s core web ecosystem
  • Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
  • Take ownership of the modules, and always be ready to share the knowledge with the team

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
  • 1-3 years experience with frontend web development (HTML/CSS/JS, ReactJS/VueJS/AngularJS)
  • 1-3 years experience with backend api development using NodeJS, Python or Golang
  • Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL [SQL] and MongoDB [NoSQL] databases
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for documenting workflows, tools, or complex areas of a codebase
  • Experience with CI/CD, Message Queue and ElasticSearch is considered an asset
